Shin Residence

Sitting on the hillside of Silver Lake, this project overlooks Downtown Los Angeles and the Silver Lake neighborhood. The existing house did not fully utilize the prime location that offers amazing views and provided only 789 square feet of residential space. Additionally, the driveway to the garage was too steep for cars to go in and out.

Through rigorous research and design studies, we designed the house to have a wonderful interior and proper driveway usage as well as beautiful views from any point within the house. The addition of 1,335 square feet substantially increased the market value as well as the satisfaction of the resident by providing breathtaking views and the revisited garage.
