The Oxford

The Oxford is a 5-story, 9-unit apartments in Los Angeles. This project was a worthwhile challenge for us to stretch our imagination and design capacity. The Oxford is located in a flood zone, allowing no subterranean parking, and has a limited lot size of 7,547 square feet. As a result, the project required an effective design solution as well as excellent coordination and a prompt process. PQNK accepted the challenges and built the building to have 3-story residential units over the 2-story on-ground garage.

In the serene neighborhood, the Oxford is makes an appealing design statement while maintaining the placidity of its surroundings.  The buildings play of geometry and massing, as well as the use of brown tonal colors, helps the building to be modestly interesting.
